Omdesign 2017

In order to celebrate the 165 national and international awards Omdesign has won in the last three years, they decided to create this packaging to reinforce their commitment to the future. This package made of burnt wood carries a strong message with a simple gesture, meaning that by working together, people can help return to the forest part of what was destroyed by the fires, as well as what Omdesign takes from it to develop the solutions they create every day. This caricature of a water dispenser, doling out water drop by drop, illustrates Omdesign environmental concern.

Delacon Dandelion

Dandelions are very delicate creations of nature managing to be wonderfully simple and highly complex at the same time. That's why a specially crafted, stylized and oversized model of a dandelion is the one and only design element at the heart of the Delacon exhibition stand. Invisible to the visitor is the very complex airflow sensor array, which is arranged inside the flowers head ready and waiting to amaze its visitors: By blowing on the flower the magical journey of its onscreen counterpart's seeds begins to unfold and allows you to be cast away with their elegant dance.

Paper Flight

This kinetic art object highlights all the possibilities that a great materiality provides to graphic design. The creative challenge consisted in designing a visual scenario of delicate finishes. Each flight, seeks to break with the static and bi-dimensional condition of the impression, presenting itself as birds in full flight, through the aesthetics of the movement that occurs when sliding the inner sheets under the paper screen of the cover stimulating the eye through simple visual effects.

This design enables users to meet with world-class doctors right from their smartphone. The designer team worked with major insurance companies to make appointments low-cost, and partnered with leading hospitals and top-tier doctors. Above all, This product uses an intuitive design language and user flow to create a seamless user experience. The design team have also taken extra steps to optimize for affordability, meaningful doctor-patient interaction, and ease of use — for a great telehealth experience.

Plates

To demonstrate different departments of the hardware store Didyk Pictures came up with the idea to present them as several plates with different hardware objects on top of them, served in a restaurant manner. White background and white dishes help to accentuate the served objects and make it easier for store visitors to find a certain department. The images were also used on 6x3 meter billboards and posters in public transport all over Estonia. A white background and a simple composition allow this ad message to be perceived even by a person in a passing by car.
