I am Nesia

This series of images is an interpretation of the effects that the recent lockdown had on mankind. It is a reminder of the fear felt on a global scale. Most important, it is there to remind that the human race can prevail and adapt in order to survive and ultimately overcome the damage done by the pandemic. So even though the images might come across as dark, they are in fact a celebration of the human spirit.

Nght

A series about the beauty of sunsets, moonrises, and reflections. Due to the different light conditions during the day the same building can look different each time you look at it. During the retouching process, the buildings get isolated from their environment to bring out the uniqueness of the buildings and to be able to edit the sky. In some cases, they are also manipulated to give it a more surreal touch.

Talking Peppers

Nus Nous photographs seem to represent human bodies or parts of them, in reality it is the observer who wants to see them. When we observe anything, even a situation, we observe it emotionally and for this reason, we often let ourselves be deceived. In the Nus Nous images, it is evident how the element of ambivalence turns into a subtle elaboration of the mind that takes us away from reality to lead us into an imaginary labyrinth made up of suggestions.

Zhangyan Country Living Festival

The project hopes to create a blueprint for rural life in the future. The key vision design integrates the design style of Memphis School. It abstracts the "mountain, water, fish, bridge" and other elements with the local characteristics of Zhangyan Village to form the visual identity of this event. The overall vision of the project starts from the specific sections of the exhibition, speech, workshop, and market to carry out the spatial narrative, conveying the concepts of rural, sustainable, future, innovation.

Promising Ideas

Hao Li and Mengchao Wu created this animation for Unicef to explain how they've helped young people in remote areas connect to the internet, especially girls. First, the animation compares the difference in the number of boys and girls who have access to the internet in lagging regions, and the problems the inequality has brought to girls in those places. Throughout the film, Hao and Mengchao show how Unicef helped these girls access the internet and what has changed since accessing the internet.

134340 Music Video

134340 is a short music video and visualizes the titular song of the same title. In response to the lyrics, the video redesign dwarf planet Pluto as a white ball wanders through multiple dimensions of space. It contains simple geometric shapes modelling and keyframe animation of 30fps. The color palette consists mainly purple and blue to fit the space aesthetics of the video. The music video captures a 2D effect art style known as Cel Shading and combines animations into the 3D elements. 134340 project was entirely crafted and composed in 3D software Cinema 4D in a span of 2 months.
