The casing of the millisecond metal tape measure and fiber measure is manufactured by milling aluminum ingots with the utmost precision. The two-sided body boasts shell-like indentations on both sides. This offers the user greater comfort as the fingers lie neatly in the indentations. The designer’s objective was not only to consider the shape of the measuring tape as an object, but also to consider how it might be both used as a tool and carried.
Continue readingTo demonstrate different departments of the hardware store Didyk Pictures came up with the idea to present them as several plates with different hardware objects on top of them, served in a restaurant manner. White background and white dishes help to accentuate the served objects and make it easier for store visitors to find a certain department. The images were also used on 6x3 meter billboards and posters in public transport all over Estonia. A white background and a simple composition allow this ad message to be perceived even by a person in a passing by car.

It's composed of only two pieces, the lightweight wooden body and the external ring that slides up to lock the lead in place. Its functioning is elemental but not taken for granted, all the mechanisms have been eliminated, in order to simplify the assembling process and improve its sustainability. Sostanza is a handmade object, entirely produced in Italy using beautiful natural materials.

Continue readingThis is a bottled water product sold only on an e-commerce site.Thirty bottles which have 6 different types of design are assorted in a box. We made the water itself the protagonist of the design. One side of the bottle has the small product title only,so that the patterns of the back are seen through the “refraction of water”. The patterns look differently according to the angle.Such effect increases the presence of natural water itself and the water looks more delicious through the bottle.
