trivago

The colorful animation is a part of new animated campaign for Trivago. The idea is simplistic, to zoom from space to Spain and along the way show how many hotels were available to Trivago users. Different styles of architecture compliment each region of Spain.The spot then changed at street level - on a colorful street in Tenerife with peach and pink buildings. Models together with cheerful, vivid color palette create the atmosphere of warmth and carefree summer time. The design was inspired by beautiful kids toys and tries to follow new trends in 3D design.

Found

This was a self initiated project born out of a love for the mundane and the unknown. As a creative, challenges fuels progression. This specific challenge was to show that beauty can be found in the least likely of places. The only requirement is to have an open mind and to look at random found objects as more than what they appear to be.

Berlin in the Twenties

“Night Falls on the Berlin of the Roaring Twenties“ is a book about the golden age of Berlin. With hand drawn typography, the book is illustrated and designed in the style of illuminated advertising, billboards, old movies, and movie posters, and translates musical and cinematic elements into its medium.

Way of Knowledge

This book is called "The Way of Knowledge and the Holy Spirit" by Michael Debus. In it, the author attempts to make ancient myths understandable to a modern audience through his knowledge of philosophical thought. The author expresses his thought process on the paper by way of a distinctive design using blind embossing. By passing through the doors opened by the author's thought process, the reader is presented with the image of the essence of myths that otherwise seem wrapped in veils.

Paper Flight

This kinetic art object highlights all the possibilities that a great materiality provides to graphic design. The creative challenge consisted in designing a visual scenario of delicate finishes. Each flight, seeks to break with the static and bi-dimensional condition of the impression, presenting itself as birds in full flight, through the aesthetics of the movement that occurs when sliding the inner sheets under the paper screen of the cover stimulating the eye through simple visual effects.
