For this elite hydration system, the reusable and customizable Gx bottle is key, working hand in hand with Gx pods. Available in nine different formulas, Gx pods contain differing levels of carbohydrates and electrolytes, which are suggested to the user by the Gx recommendation engine. The pods were also thoughtfully created with less plastic than fully diluted, non-refillable beverages.

The idea was to break into higher-end retailers with a look that would stand up to the quality of the product, to be communicated through the product livery. Material selection and finishes are key to consumers' perceptions, from both an initial impression to a second more considered evaluation. The colours used are derived from the plants and herbs that make each of the fragrances. The illustrations have an ethereal quality, alluding to scent dissipating into the air as a candle burns.

"404" means that the webpage doesn't exist, so this project creates an environment that makes users feel lost around the internet data and enjoy the virtual landscapes. By training a machine learning model that combines thousands of images, The designer, Yijia Xie, creates unique and beautiful places that don't exist in the whole world or even in the universe. They are just the landscapes generated by Artificial Intelligence.

The type specimen was printed as a newspaper A2 (folded and sent as A4) and presents the typeface with a modern feel and experience.
Continue readingTokaj Gin is produced in Hungary's Tokaj wine region. The characteristic hills of the landscape are illustrated in a geometric manner on the bottle resembling that of traditional copper engravings. During the design process, we experimented a lot with dimensions and rhythm, in order to make the lens effect as perfect as possible. The illustrations are directly screen-printed on the surface of the bottle, resulting in playful distortion of pattern through the transparent liquid.
