Remember Me

Designed in the shape of 28 endangered species, this business card was developed to solve the problem of conventional business cards being thrown away like expendables. At the same time, this business card serves to introduce the forgotten endangered species to the public. Stet

Our world has evolved dramatically since the invention of movable type, and so have people. The internet has altered reading habits from linear to non-linear. However, the printed book still retains its traditional form, causing a disconnect between the reader and the ink on paper. This gap made it possible for Stet to exist. Stet aims to reshape and push the boundaries of print to encourage more people to read tactile books, with concentration on certain genres like Humanities.

Full

The design language of Full card-case is "hollow out", which explored the relationship between inside function and appearance of the product. Furthermore, Full weighs 19 grams, which provides good sense of holding to enhance its user experience.

The Mask that Ate the Virus

Swiss biotech company Livinguard developed a textile for reusable masks that inactivates and eliminates bacteria, fungi, and viruses (incl. Covid 19) upon impact. This idea is brought to life in the packaging: The mask comes in a sterile package. An attached plastic strip animates – when slid up and down – a graphic depiction of a virus that is getting eaten in the process, adding some urgently needed humor in desperate days. To avoid the mix up of masks among family members, and hence cross-contamination, differently colored adjustment clips come in a separate sleeve to customize each mask.

Lifelong Online

Centrick set in place a brand guideline that matched speed with aesthetics. A clean and minimal style of photography was used to simply showcase the core of every product while reducing the deliberate clutter around them. It enabled them to shoot 130 products, catalogued in 300 shots, in just 32 hours. This rapid photography system enabled real time communication, a mandate for e-commerce. To maximize performance they took an extreme approach and challenged the very core of the platforms. A consolidated and integrated design approach was used to create this online destination.

Refracting Reality

Light has been the main part of our world since the beginning of time. Humans have learned to use light to tell stories, relate, experience, and communicate. The book expressed light characteristics: Refraction, Reflection, Diffraction, and Interferer through typography and imageries. The light experience was considered in the book's materials, such as coated paper, uncoated paper, and a solid prism. The prism of the book spine was used to manifest the perception of light.
