Terra

Terra is an animated short film in which dust, gravity and man-made ruins are the main subjects. The film runs for about five minutes, uses an aspect ratio of 2.35:1 and is set to the music track E2 by the band Muay. Terra is presented as a tribute to architecture, technology, science fiction cinema and music. The work was created with 3ds Max and Corona Renderer, with editing and color correction in Adobe software. Animation, camera work and lighting were made by hand, while collisions, explosions and cracks were simulated with plugins. Brutalist forms guided the visual direction.

Wan Xiang Sheng

Wan Xiang Sheng is a gift box for Wuyishan rock tea. The outer box imitates the form of Wuyi Mountain and recalls the landscapes of Chinese painting. When the box is set upright, the outline shows a person in meditation. The box is made of special paper with a light gray rock texture, and gravure printing, embossing, debossing and hot stamping present the shape and texture of the tea mountain. The box opens like a book and holds two small packages with four packets of tea. The design invites calm and a different point of view.

There are no molds for Eugenia because she is the resemblance of the mother.

Thousand Armed Lightsaber

Thousand Armed Lightsaber is a light and music show performed by twenty-four robotic arms. The six-axis arms move in time with music based on traditional Taiwanese war drum rhythms, combined with electronic sound and precise lighting. The show is fully automated and runs without staff on the stage. The performance area measures 2660 by 720 centimeters, with wiring, lighting and mechanical paths planned in advance. Movement accuracy is held within 0.008 centimeters. A total of 1,036 performances were presented over 28 days.

Shguijiu Dian

Shguijiu Dian is a packaging design for a high-end gift Baijiu from Shanghai. The form is inspired by Shanghai Tower, the tallest building in China. The crystal bottle and the mirror-like metal cap read as one shape, with spiraling curves and an asymmetric profile. The outer box is silver plated and cylindrical, with an irregular curved surface. The outer box measures 110 mm in diameter and 330 mm in height, and the bottle measures 80 mm in diameter and 300 mm in height. Both parts can be kept and displayed, which reduces waste.

Lidu Sorghum 1308

It carries a strong sense of history and humanistic care. The gradient gold electroplating is applied to represent the gold-like preciousness of the ancient pit and microbes, serving as an endorsement for the exceptional quality of Lidu Sorghum 1308. And such elements as the sealing wax seal and the national treasure certificate label are provided as corroborative evidence. The core creative element and auxiliary elements are combined to create a coordinated balance highlighting the luxury.
