Toothpaste

The Toothpaste packaging design idea is a watercolor tube. It reminds the fun of choosing colors when painting. The Toothpaste is a unique combination of natural ingredients and amino acids found. Therefore, the upper half of the Toothpaste packaging is a natural expression, and the under half is a science and technology expression. It is a design that combines two different elements into one. Finally, the brand mark combines two toothbrushes in the shape of a cross to simply design the insurance oral products.

The designer aims to display a visual concept that demonstrates a conceptual and typographical system. This case is an urban renewal and renovation project. Under the background of urban renewal, the designer has carried out a comprehensive study on the history and geographical features of the textile industry in Deqing County. Inspired by the Textile. The main body of the space follows the architectural structure of the old factory building and uses the architectural symbols of the broken lines to integrate the building into the interior to form an organic unity. It is like an art gallery that exists in a box.

With a centuries-old history, and great natural environment, it has a famous green tea which is in the top list of Chinese tea- Biluochun. It’s also rich of typical fruits which belong to South of Yangzi river.

The Big Book of Bullshit

The Big Book of Bullshit publication is a graphic exploration of truth, trust and lies and is divided into 3 visually juxtaposed chapters. The Truth: An illustrated essay on the psychology of deception. The Trust: a visual investigation on the notion trust and The Lies: An illustrated gallery of bullshit, all derived from anonymous confessions of deception. The book's visual layout takes inspiration from Jan Tschichold's 'Van de Graaf canon', used in book design to divide a page in pleasing proportions.

The Wise Tribe is an education organization that focuses on children between 0 and 12 years old. The brand's Chinese name "weisi" is a homonym for "wise" in English, which also means "thinking". They hope the brand can be more close to children, like the original tribe, accompany the growth of children. They believe that children grow up with infinite possibilities. Therefore, the brand should be like children, with infinite imagination space.
