DZGN Terms and Conditions set the rules and conditions for using dzgn.org. By using DZGN, you agree to the rules below, so please read every section carefully. Please be aware that these terms cover the use of our website, while separate terms may apply during newsletter subscription or sign-up, and distinct terms apply if you decide to submit a design to us.
1. Your Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions
DZGN Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of DZGN, available at https://dzgn.org, and of all pages, features, tools and content of dzgn.org. By accessing or using DZGN, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by DZGN Terms and Conditions, the DZGN Privacy Policy and the DZGN Cookies Policy. If you agree, you are welcome to continue using DZGN, and otherwise we ask you to stop using DZGN. The publisher of DZGN is identified in the DZGN Impressum.
2. Content Is for Entertainment and Information Only
DZGN publishes features about design and more. Everything published on DZGN, including articles, descriptions, images, rankings, daily features, quotes, links and advertisements, is provided for entertainment and general information purposes only. For professional, legal, financial, purchasing, investment or design advice, please consult a qualified professional, because content on DZGN is general information and carries no offer, endorsement, recommendation or guarantee of any product, service, person or company. DZGN is an editorial publication, so to purchase featured designs, products or projects, please contact the respective designers or brands. You alone are responsible for any decision or action you take on the basis of content published on DZGN.
3. Provided As Is, Where Is and As Available
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law and regulations, DZGN and all content published on dzgn.org are provided on an AS IS, WHERE IS and AS AVAILABLE basis, with all faults, and without warranties or representations of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including, without any limitation, any warranty of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and any warranty that dzgn.org will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free or free of viruses or other harmful components. DZGN does not warrant the accuracy, completeness or reliability of information supplied by designers, brands, advertisers or other third parties.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DZGN, the publisher of DZGN and the owners, operators, editors, contributors, licensors, partners, sponsors, advertisers, affiliates and service providers of DZGN shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with the use of, or the inability to use, DZGN, or reliance on any content published on dzgn.org, even if previously advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in DZGN Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
5. Full Indemnity
You agree to fully indemnify, defend and hold harmless DZGN, the publisher of DZGN and the owners, operators, editors, contributors, licensors, partners, sponsors, advertisers, affiliates and service providers of DZGN from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, liabilities, damages, losses, judgments, settlements, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal and attorney fees, arising out of or related to (a) your use or misuse of DZGN, (b) your breach of DZGN Terms and Conditions, (c) your violation of any law or of any right of a third party, including intellectual property and privacy rights, and (d) any information you provide through DZGN or to the third-party services reached through DZGN. The obligation to indemnify survives any end of your use of DZGN.
6. Intellectual Property
Featured works. The designs, products, projects, photographs, renderings, descriptions, names, logos and trademarks featured on DZGN belong to the original creators, designers, brands and license holders of each work, who keep all rights to their intellectual properties. Each work is shown on DZGN for editorial or entertainment purposes, and the presentation of a work on DZGN leaves every right with the respective owners.
Original materials of DZGN. Except for third-party works, the original texts, the selection and arrangement of content and the layout of DZGN are protected by copyright and are © 2008 – 2026 DZGN. You are welcome to read DZGN and to share links to pages of dzgn.org for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please obtain prior written permission from the publisher of DZGN, and from the relevant rights holders for featured works, before copying, reproducing, scraping, harvesting, mirroring, framing, republishing, redistributing, selling or otherwise exploiting content of dzgn.org, except where the law expressly allows.
Notice to rights holders. If you are a creator or rights holder and believe that a feature on DZGN infringes an intellectual property right, or gives incorrect credit, you can send a notice through the DZGN Contact page, indicating the address of the page, identifying the work and your rights in the work, and providing a way to reach you. DZGN reviews every notice promptly and carefully and, where appropriate, corrects or removes the content.
7. Third-Party Websites, Services and Advertising
DZGN contains links to, and content from, third parties, including the A' Design Award & Competition, Designers.org, the Design Encyclopedia and other partner and affiliated websites. Third-party websites are operated independently of DZGN, so their content, availability, terms and privacy practices remain the responsibility of the respective third party. You access third-party websites at your own risk and subject to the terms of the respective third party.
Advertising shown on DZGN is delivered by Massive Outreach Ads Network, the advertising solution provider of DZGN. Advertisements are supplied by third parties, and each advertised product, service or advertiser remains solely the responsibility of the respective advertiser. Any dealings between you and an advertiser are solely between you and that advertiser.
8. Forms and Forwarding to Third-Party Services
Some features of DZGN, such as the DZGN Submit Design page, the DZGN Newsletter page and the DZGN Encyclopedia page, work in two steps. You provide a few details on dzgn.org and may then be forwarded to a partner service that carries out the actual service. The partner service, and not DZGN, is responsible for processing your information and for everything that happens after the forwarding, under the terms and the privacy policy of that service. You agree to provide accurate and truthful information and to enter only information that belongs to you or that you are authorized to share.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree to use DZGN for lawful purposes, to access dzgn.org through ordinary browsing and search engine indexing rather than through robots, crawlers, scrapers or other automated means, to respect the security and availability of dzgn.org, its servers and its networks, to provide truthful information through the forms of DZGN, and to keep every credit, copyright, trademark and other notice intact.
10. Availability and Changes
The publisher of DZGN may change, suspend or discontinue DZGN, or any content or feature of DZGN, at any time, for any reason and without notice or liability. DZGN Terms and Conditions may also be updated from time to time, and the date shown at the bottom of this page indicates the latest revision. Your continued use of DZGN after a revision means that you accept the revised DZGN Terms and Conditions.
11. Governing Law
DZGN Terms and Conditions, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with DZGN, are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction of the publisher of DZGN identified in the DZGN Impressum, without regard to conflict of law rules and principles, and the competent courts of that jurisdiction have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.
12. General Provisions
If any provision of DZGN Terms and Conditions is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. A delay in enforcing any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision. DZGN Terms and Conditions, together with the DZGN Privacy Policy and the DZGN Cookies Policy, form the entire agreement regarding the use of DZGN.
