As a car part manufacturer, Maxxis keeps thinking how it can design a feasible smart system that can participate in this trend and even help accelerate it. T Razr is a smart tire developed for the need. Its built-in sensors actively detect different driving conditions and provide active signals to transform the tire. The magnified treads stretch and change the contact area in response to the signal, therefore improve the traction performance.

Mother Earth

Mother Earth is a studio portrait photograph that presents the planet in human form as a woman in poor health. The makeup uses green, blue and brown tones to represent oceans, plants and soil. Dying flower petals are placed on the head of the model to suggest illness. The expression of the model conveys sadness and vulnerability. The lighting was created with one large octabox on the model and one light on the backdrop. The final image was refined with digital editing software. The photograph links pollution to human emotion and draws attention to climate change.

The Cedea water design is inspired by the Ladin Dolomites and the legends about the natural light phenomenon Enrosadira. Caused by their unique mineral, the Dolomites light up in a reddish, burning hue at sunrise and sunset, lending the scenery a magic ambience. By “resembling the legendary magic Garden of Roses”, the Cedea packaging aims to capture this very moment. The result is a glass bottle making the water glare and flare to surprising effect. The colors of the bottle are meant to resemble the special glow of the Dolomites bathed in the mineral’s rose red and the blue of the sky.
